Golden Bridge at Ba Na Hills – My Experience & Travel Tips

If you’re visiting Da Nang, one place you really shouldn’t miss is Ba Na Hills. I recently visited the famous Golden Bridge, and it was honestly one of the most unique spots I’ve seen in Vietnam.

First Impression

The Golden Bridge looks like a giant pair of stone hands gently holding a golden walkway above the mountains. The design is impressive and the view over the forest and clouds makes it feel almost surreal. Early in the morning, the mist around the mountains creates an amazing atmosphere for photos.

Getting There

From Da Nang city center, it takes about 40–50 minutes by car to reach Ba Na Hills. After arriving, you’ll take the cable car, which is actually one of the longest cable car rides in the world. The ride itself is already a highlight with beautiful mountain views.

Best Time to Visit

If you want the best photos and fewer crowds, try to arrive early in the morning (before 9 AM). Later in the day the bridge can get quite busy with visitors.

What Else to See

Besides the Golden Bridge, there are plenty of other attractions at Ba Na Hills:

  • The French Village with European-style buildings
  • Beautiful flower gardens
  • Fantasy Park for games and indoor activities
  • Scenic viewpoints around the mountain

Final Thoughts

The Golden Bridge is not just a photo spot — the whole Ba Na Hills experience is worth it. Between the cable car ride, mountain views, and unique architecture, it’s definitely one of the highlights of Central Vietnam.

If you’re planning a trip to Da Nang, adding Ba Na Hills to your itinerary is a great choice.
