TAM GIANG LAGOON- HUE, VIETNAM

Located about 30km from Hue city center on the way from Thuan An sea to Quang Tri province, the 52km2 wide lagoon called Tam Giang is a part of Tam Giang - Cau Hai lagoon system (the largest brackish water lagoon in Southeast Asia). It attracts visitors by rustic fishing villages nearby and seafood lagoon, particular when the sun sets.
 

How to get toTam Giang lagoon?

Visitors may choose one of these two ways to reach Tam Giang lagoon.

+ Go along Le Duan street. Take the left turn to Huynh Thuc Khang street. Go straight on until reaching Sia townlet. Follow the direction board to Con Toc. Then, take a boat ride on the lagoon or reach the other side of Tam Giang lagoon.

+ Travel from Hue city to Thuan An ward. Go across a bridge. Take the turn to 49A national road. Go straight ahead until reaching Tam Giang bridge and Tam Giang lagoon.

When to visit Tam Giang lagoon?

It is said that the best time to visit Tam Giang lagoon is from 5:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
